Episode 205: Madison Willan

2020 and 2021 must have been excruciating for busy-bodies like Madison Willan. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the 21-year-old multi-sport star with Baseball Alberta, Baseball Canada, the University of Alberta Pandas hockey team, golfer and more to spend less time playing the sports she loves. The Edmonton product was definitely happy getting back to her old routines in 2022, and was rewarded for her efforts with the Baseball Alberta Women’s Open Player of the Year award this past weekend. Between classes recently, Willan took some time to chat with us about the award, her athletic journey, and quickly becoming a veteran on the National Women’s Team despite not having a ton of experience under her belt.
